Summer String Camp 2024

The Institute hosts a FUN two week summer string camp with a concert on Friday June 21st at 1:30pm at the Campus Life Center in Barrington.  Students rehearse 5 days for two weeks on a wide variety of music including pop, jazz, folk, Broadway, rock, movies and classics.  Student’s should be comfortable playing at least at a Suzuki book 2 level and/or at least three years experience on their instrument and be comfortable reading notes and rhythms.  The result of this camp is students who grow in their ability to read rhythms and notes as they move through a significant amount of literature while having fun at the same time!

DATES:  Monday June 10- Friday June 21st 2024
